Gina Cole’s debut collection Black Ice Matter (Huia, 2016) won the Hubert Church Best First Book Award for Fiction at the 2017 Ockham New Zealand Book Awards. Gina has a Masters of Creative Writing from the University of Auckland and is both a writer and a family lawyer.
